Hi guys. I hope you are well and I know its been months since my last post. Its been a busy few months for me and so much has been going on from moving house, leaving my job and so on. Regardless of everything, I am well and alive by God’s grace. However, I was really dying to share this fantastic news with you all. I recently did a collaboration with Looker. The team at Looker had reached out to a few Manchester fashion bloggers and I happened to be one of them. I just love how diverse the group was and we all brought in our own style to the shoot as seen in the picture right at the bottom. So Looker is a fashion app that enables any fashionable person out there to share their everyday looks with followers. It is as simple as posting your outfit on the app, including details of were you got it from, making it easy for followers to see it, buy it and wear it. Trust me, it is that simple. Looker is created for real women like you and I to steal each other’s style and also to inspire each other. Hopefully, I have sold this app to you now so what are you waiting for; Go ahead and add me to your styling team.
PRINCE OF WALES CHECKED BLAZER
On to the outfit. The Prince of Wales checked Blazer. A super versatile piece with a classic vibe. No wonder its the most coveted piece this season. High street is flooding with all types of Prince of Wales checked pieces. The blazer has got to be my favourite.
Checked prints are always a good idea for cooler months and we’ll probably never get tired of wearing multi-colored plaid patterns, but not all check prints are made the same.
HOW TO WEAR THE CHECKED BLAZER
The classic vibe of the monochromatic Prince of Wales makes it a sophisticated yet super versatile print to wear. While it seems to be made for business situations, you can easily pair it with your everyday basics to create a casual look or even throw it over a cute dress for a polished night out look. I went for a casual look for the shoot and added a pop of colour with the little red bag.
