Camel pairs incredibly well with any shade, and the preppy all black look does the work for me . It’s a versatile look and can be transformed by simply changing the footwear . I went for a model at fashion week look but I reckon if I swapped the boots for some court heels , it would be fit for office wear. Adding a pair of chuck Taylor’s will be more of a preppy casual look.

It’s May already and it’s a little disappointing weather-wise because it’s not entirely warm. Thankfully enough, my coats are still lingering around. Speaking of coats, I would recommend stocking up on your winter essentials now because there are some ridiculous sales going on right now . In fact , I scooped this gorgeous camel coat from the H&M sales which went down to £25 from £80. Now that’s what I call a bargain . I know for sure you will be seeing more of this coat in fall but I thought I might rock it on this day because it was quite chilly .
There’s a reason why camel is the signature shade of most chic trench coats. Something about this classic neutral shade brings a luxe, well-made feel to any piece, no matter the price point. As a bonus, it meshes well with nearly every other colour. I chose an all black outfit to add some contrast to the camel shade . To accessorise , I added my oxblood bag . For a complete look , the velvet khaki boots gives this looks an edgy touch . I totally fell in love with these boots when I saw them . They have a baddie look in my opinion.
You may be wondering why I seem to be striding with purpose in most of these photos. Well the simple answer is, it was extremely windy on this day(which worked in my favour in some of the shoots, giving me that studio- air blown effect lol) and I felt like this coat is at it’s best on the go.
