I can’t believe how fast the weekend went by . One minute I was prepping for fashion week and the next minute poof it’s over just like that .
Anyway, I thought I would share with you all about my trip to London Fashion Week Festival. I had the opportunity of attending one of the trend catwalk shows by Avenue 23, with front row sits . This was a huge thing because I have never been to a live catwalk of such Caliber.

My trip started off a bit crazy because the outfit I had ordered didn’t arrive at all . This meant that I had to think of another option two days before leaving . I made the last minute order for option two but silly me , forgot to opt for next day delivery so I was in a pickle because if the outfit wasn’t delivered on Friday itself I would have nothing to wear. I was literally panicking not until it was delivered a couple of hours before my train to London . Squeaky bum time as Farai would say lol. Moral of the story , never leave things till last minute.
Things also go smoother if you have an itinerary. It helped me stay organised because I knew I would forget bits and bobs . Another thing I would say is that , if you are going to go to such an event ensure that you have all your electronics fully charged. In fact carry extra batteries for your camera . I didn’t have to worry much about that because Farai was kind enough to have that sorted out for me .
The night before Fashion week I unpacked and hanged my outfit in readiness for the event . Did I mention how gorgeous the hotel we stayed out was? If you haven’t , check it out here .
Even though fashion week can be quiet hectic , it is fun plus you get to network with other bloggers . I took the opportunity to meet up with a fellow Zambian blogger, Nancy. We even had a mini shoot in the streets of London .
Overall , this fashion week was pretty relaxed for me and it has definitely made me look forward to many more to come.
