Must have pieces for a preppy fall wardrobe should include a sweater over collared shirt. Though the preppy look works all year round there is no better time to rock the look than now. Layering as we all know is perfect for the season as its getting colder. This sweater doesn’t really come with a button down shirt inside, though it looks like it. The fit is perfect and definitely comfy for the road trip we took.

This post is a month late but I thought I might still share. Last month was Farai’s birthday and I planned a weekend away in the Lake District, Keswick . Why Keswick ? Well, we both hadn’t been before and wanted to have a bit of adventure – though you won’t find me hiking in the mountains because I am too lazy for that. Another reason why I picked the Lake District is because Farai is a landscape photographer and beautiful sceneries put a smile on his face . So as you can guess, I was trying to make his birthday memorable.
We decided to drive there and the journey was filled with sing alongs. Spotify comes in handy for such moments and I simply put a smashing playlist. The drive there was not too long. From Manchester it took close to 2 hrs to get there . And the weather was amazing, no rain in sight !Anyway back to the story, we went to Go Ape in Whinlatter ( not for you , if you are afraid of height). Initially, I thought I knew exactly what I was signing up for but I was surprised with things I never thought I would ever do like zip lining. Not a chance but , yep I am proud to say I did it ! Go Ape is an activities
After leaving Go Ape centre , we stopped by the road side to simply enjoy the view and Miss Thang over here couldn’t resist posing for a few pics . I am wearing my trusted comfy Converse sneakers, leggings and my new sweater which comes with an attached white colour inside , giving and illusion of layering – perfect for fall. I added a biker jackets tie the whole look together .
So there you have it, that was our fantastic weekend away in the Lake District. What’s the most adventurous thing you have done recently ?
