Weekend special with a twist! Tip of the day: When it comes to Ankara designs , pick one that has a fashion edge to it and personalise it to your taste and style. Speaking of designs , I am attending a Zambian/Nigerian wedding next month so I need to pick out a design for my outfit. Plus I will be wearing a gele too. Super exciting news and I will definitely be sharing the look with you guys.

If you follow me on Pinterest you will see that I have a board with a collection of All things ankara. If I could have a large collection of african print clothes in person I would. Who doesn’t love vibrant african print in summer? Its the only time I get to wear African print without worrying about the cold.

There is no doubt that when it comes to the use of bold colours nothing beats African Fashion outfits. The use of bold colours will always attract the on-looker’s eyes. So if you dare to make a statement check out Ify’s collections on her site, here.

We have yet another collaboration with Ify. For this look we went for African print pants. The combination of statement pants and a cute crop top is definitely my kinda style. Ify went for an off shoulder top with her pants, which was a great combination. To see more of her look, check out her blog here.

Thanks for reading and have a great weekend!
