PRESENTATION TO COCKTAIL BAR

Corporate chic look

Hey guys, hope you are all doing well. So todays post is for my corporate ladies out there, who endure the pressures of the corporate world whilst still looking chic at work. Looking fit and professional is a great way to show off your style in the office and better still if that look can be transitioned into the night, for happy hour for instance, then you have a perfect day-to-night outfit while staying chic.

I recently took part in a style challenge with T.M Lewin on how to style a look that would transition from office hours to happy hour. This was an interesting challenge and I definitely enjoyed looking for ideas on which pieces would go together. In the end I went for crepe high waited trousers in black. Styled with a polka dot top and added a wrap waist belt with a cute bow in front, to create a silhouette illusion. I added a blazer with leather lapels for that chic yet smart look. To top it up, I wore my simple pointy black heels. To me this is a versatile look because I have incorporated work friendly themes and added a touch of polka dot patterned top that would look stunning whilst I let my hair down and sip on some cocktails after a long day at work. The trousers are perfect because they can be dressed up or down depending on what look one is going for. This was my take on the challenge. How would you style a perfect look for ‘the boardroom to the bar ‘?
