I can’t help but join in the Christmas frenzy honestly. I was in taxi yesterday and the driver was playing Jazz carols which I actually enjoyed compared to the usual jingle bells. It was good to hear something different.
As we come to the end of a beautiful year, I just want to acknowledge the blessings I have been granted throughout, both the good and not so good times. I compiled a few questions to answer:
Favorite Afro-beat tune of 2015: My Woman , My Everything by Patoranking. I am sure all who personally know me would agree.
Biggest Accomplishment of 2015: Probably passing first year with a First. I was really proud of myself regardless of how much people tried to emphasize the fact that first year does not count. I chose to work hard and it paid off.
Best memory of 2015 : When my boyfriend and I went to London for my job interview, we went for a meal the day before at Hakassan. Now if you have been there, you will know that its quiet a posh place. To cut the long story short he officially asked me to be his girl friend. I thought that was very romantic of him.
Most memorable Phrase of 2015: “ON FLEEK”
Biggest obstacle of 2015 : Procrastination. It sure is an obstacle
Lessons learned from 2015: The fewer friends you have the less stress and drama you encounter. I am glad with the few people in my inner circle. Couldn’t ask for better friends.
Top Beauty products of 2015 : La Roche Posay face wash, toner and cream. Best products I have used for my face and has given me a more fair and blemish free complexion.
Regrets of 2015 : I tend not to have regrets because I believe everything happens for a reason. Regretting something results in depression hence I choose to avoid it.
Goals for 2016 : To be a better person. Visit at least a couple of other European countries with my other half.
I wish you all a joyous Christmas.
