There is something about the sound of rain pouring down. Its simply relaxing and as you can guess it is pouring down and am typing away with a cuppa, all nice and cozy. Sadly summer is fading away and I’m trying to hold on to the little that’s left of it. I know of some bloggers who are already looking forward to the layering season but personally I am still in denial and just don’t want to picture the cold yet.
It got me thinking back at the highlights of this summer. Its been an eventful one I must say and I am I did make the most of it with loads of memories to look back at, met a few new people as well as caught up with friends. Ever wondered :
” What if you wake up some day, and you’re 65 or 75, and you never got your memoir written; you didn’t go swimming in warm pools and oceans all those years because your thighs were jiggly and you had a nice big comfortable tummy; or you were so strung out on perfectionism and people pleasing that you forgot to have a big juicy creative life, of imagination and radical silliness and staring off into space like when you were a kid? Its going to break your heart.”
Regret is one of the worst things one can encounter so why not embrace life as it comes. Hope you all have a blessed week ahead of you. I know I will. Before I forget, I was going for a nautical look though a touch white pants would have been better. Navy and white are the colors most closely associated with nautical fashion, but red and yellow do the trick as well. Here is a simple tip, when it comes to nautical trend, focus on stripes.
Later.
