So I finally got a chance to attend the Leeds Fashion show last Friday and I must say it was a great experience. Now when you think about fashion shows the likes of London Fashion week or Vogue Fashion nights out , and cities like Paris, Milan , New York come to mind …its all glitz and catwalk couture. But the true heart and soul of fashion is from within init.
From the start i knew we were in for a fantastic night. Hosted by the very charismatic Kem Anyanwu who gracefully and enthusiastically got the show underway and paved the way for the designers and retailers to show off their upcoming collections. There was The models were excellent from start to finish as they graced the catwalk in their various pieces. I must say, Leeds does have some phenomenal designers as seen on the catwalk that night. From the likes of Masato, Savanah Morrish, F2D, hyper couture, Blak Label, just to mention a few. All designs had a unique touch and definitely eye catching.
In a nutshell, it was a great and successful night full of life, energy, vibrant colours and kicked off by a great performance by the SCALA Kids.

Booties/ZARA, Jeggings/NEWLOOK, Bag/ZARA, Coat/Ebay, Shirt/NEWLOOK |
As opposed to the glamarously dressed attendees, I decided to dress comfortably and hoped the tartan shirt would add a trendly look to the outfit. Anyway happy hump day.
