Hey everyone. So today's post is mainly me sharing with you a new spot that I recently discovered in the heart of Manchester. No.1 Watson street is a casual dinning place that is tacked away in the Great Northern Square.
Serving a mix of pizza classics (yup you can count on them to tick pepperoni and Margherita )- No.1 Watson Street also introduces new favourites such as Chicken waffle, Mac n Cheese - with tantalising ribs, wings and so-fried things . On top of that, there's also traditional burger takes including fancy 'Taking the brisket' and even some tasty sides like sweet potato fries.
With an urban interior, you're more likely to feel like you're cozied up in a film set than a 5 minutes walk from the Arndale...
Farai and I opt for the lunch menu which comes with a free hot or soft drink. That's a bonus if you ask me. I went for the Reuben which is a brisket sandwich and Farai had a meatball sub. If you are a cocktail fan like me , No.1 Watson Street has Happy hour from 5pm -9pm weekdays.
"If you are ever in Manchester, Definitely check it out. What interesting restaurants have been to lately?"
