I can't help but join in the Christmas frenzy honestly. I was in taxi yesterday and the driver was playing Jazz carols which I actually enjoyed compared to the usual jingle bells. It was good to hear something different.
As we come to the end of a beautiful year, I just want to acknowledge the blessings I have been granted throughout, both the good and not so good times. I compiled a few questions to answer:

Favorite Afro-beat tune of 2015: My Woman , My Everything by Patoranking. I am sure all who personally know me would agree.

Biggest Accomplishment of 2015: Probably passing first year with a First. I was really proud of myself regardless of how much people tried to emphasize the fact that first year does not count. I chose to work hard and it paid off.

Best memory of 2015 : When my boyfriend and I went to London for my job interview, we went for a meal the day before at Hakassan. Now if you have been there, you will know that its quiet a posh place. To cut the long story short he officially asked me to be his girl friend. I thought that was very romantic of him.

Most memorable Phrase of 2015: "ON FLEEK"

Biggest obstacle of 2015 : Procrastination. It sure is an obstacle

Lessons learned from 2015: The fewer friends you have the less stress and drama you encounter. I am glad with the few people in my inner circle. Couldn't ask for better friends.

Top Beauty products of 2015 : La Roche Posay face wash, toner and cream. Best products I have used for my face and has given me a more fair and blemish free complexion.

Regrets of 2015 : I tend not to have regrets because I believe everything happens for a reason. Regretting something results in depression hence I choose to avoid it.

Goals for 2016 : To be a better person. Visit at least a couple of other European countries with my other half.

I wish you all a joyous Christmas.

Falling for Blue

So I spent my weekend in the beautiful Manchester and couldn't resist taking cheeky pics. Despite the many road works going on, that didn't hinder me and the boo from finding great locations like Deansgate and Spinningfields. If you haven't checked these places out , you definitely must visit soon.

Fall looks

Fall looks

I am kinda excited about fall this time around. With all its plum hues, mustard yellow, sweaters
booties, scarves...the list is endless. Therefore, I decided to share my wish list this fall. Hope you can pick a few inspirations from this.

First week back in uni and am so glad with my timetable this semester as I hardly have any 9ams. The struggle is real. I will definitely share some uni looks when I get a chance to. Have a lovely week.

There is something about the sound of rain pouring down. Its simply relaxing and as you can guess it is pouring down and am typing away with a cuppa, all nice and cozy. Sadly summer is fading away and I'm trying to hold on to the little that's left of it. I know of some bloggers who are already looking forward to the layering season but personally I am still in denial and just don't want to picture the cold yet.

It got me thinking back at the highlights of this summer. Its been an eventful one I must say and I am I did make the most of it with loads of memories to look back at, met a few new people as well as caught up with friends. Ever wondered :

" What if you wake up some day, and you're 65 or 75, and you never got your memoir written; you didn't go swimming in warm pools and oceans all those years because your  thighs were jiggly and you had a nice big comfortable  tummy; or you were so strung out on perfectionism and people pleasing that you forgot to have a big juicy creative life, of imagination and radical silliness and staring off into space like when you were a kid? Its going to break your heart."

Regret is one of the worst things one can encounter so why not embrace life as it comes. Hope you all have a blessed week ahead of you. I know I will. Before I forget, I was going for a nautical look though a touch white pants would have been better. Navy and white are the colors most closely associated with nautical fashion, but red and yellow do the trick as well. Here is a simple tip, when it comes to nautical trend, focus on stripes.

HELLO AUGUST!Its my birthday month, whoop whoop!! I am absolutely excited about it and its a blessing to grow a year older. Its been a while since my last post and honestly I have no excuse other than I have been living life to the fullest. The number of bridal showers I have attended during this period is a constant reminder of the fact that I am not growing any younger... *hides face. No pressure though lol.
So the weather got me feeling some type of way and I opt for a skater dress. I couldn't stop twirling. I have had little styling inspiration of late but an opportunity to dress up arose, and I thought why not go for a flirty look.
