Kimono Dress

Its getting rather chilly but don't want to say bye to the summery clothes just yet. Man how i love versatile pieces in my wardrobe. I saw this similar tie dye boho kimono dress in Zara a few seasons ago but it was a lil on the pricey side so when i finally found something affordable I thought why not. I was going to run a few errands in readiness for my birthday weekend that was last Saturday. I went for a laid back look, black on black and added this kimono tie dye dress. Its light and flowy but perfect cover up to spice up an outfit.

Minty x Maxi

Today's ootd (outfit of the day) features this gorgeous minty number from Zara sales. The are sales everywhere and its rather tempting to spend spend spend. Though I must say Zara sales are always justifiable most of the time. But I have to discipline myself for now because I will be starting uni next month. I am proper excited about this news and I will possibly share a bit more info on this in another post.

The flowy and airy feel to this dress makes it so comfy to wear and its a perfect outfit for summer!
One of the reasons why I love summer is the fact that i get to wear airy maxi dresses and not have to layer heavy coats on top. I was lucky enough to have found this mint green maxi in the zara sales about 3 weeks ago and frankly speaking am super glad that i got it as I really couldnt afford the initial price when it just came out. Great purchase.

I paired the dress with some white sandals for that extra sexy touch though one can trade heeled sandals for flat sandals.

Black X Leopard

Being a great fanatic of prints, I was obviously drawn to these leopard print palazzo pants. Am sure you have noticed that I seem to love wide legged pants and jumpsuits. I currently own three but this one seems to be my current favourite. I scooped these pants in the Zara sales for less than £20 and on top of that I could immediately see different ways of rocking them pants upon buying them.
The thing I love about leopard print is the fact that it goes with quiet a good amount of colours and prints if matched well. For instance, them pants could be worn with an orange long-sleeved blouse and a pair of black heels or u could choose a pink top for a girly chic look. Better still for those of us who love white this print can go pretty well with a crispy white button up shirt with a tailored white jacket for that sophisticated look. I will possibly try to put up more ways of how I style these pants later on. I decided to pair the pants with a black blouse and black heels though I eventually traded the pointy heels for a pair flat sandals for a comfy look. I added a waist belt to stitch in my waist a lil to give me some shape. What do you think?
