Happy First Blogversary

Hey everyone!
"My blog turns 1 today "
So my blog finally turned a year old and am really happy with how far I have come because I was not sure how long I would have it for. Its amazing how time flies...
This time last year I decided to create this blog, after convincing myself that I could do it and I just felt the need to show my creativity with the rest of the world. After being inspired by people like Joan of Afro-Funk and other bloggers I was hooked on this whole blogging thing. I have learnt a few things through out this journey and I sure hope to continue and improve on my blogging. But anyway to cut the long story short if you feel blogging is for you definitely go for it. I absolutely love what I do and hope to even get better at it. I have some exciting ideas in store so hopefully all goes well.

Thanx to everyone for the comments and support. Happy Hump Day.

New Things!!

So I decided to try out a new foundation seeing as I have been using MAC studio fix fluid for a while now. My friend advised me to try out Lancome Teint Miracle so I first of all checked out reviews of this product on Youtube and I was pretty satisfied with the reviews.

What Lancome Says

Lancome Teint Miracle is a skin perfecting foundation that helps recreate and boost the skins luminousity isnatntly such that complection appears flawless and luminous as if it lit-from-within. It also contains SPF 15 (Sun Protection factor).

What I think

After Using this foundation for a week Now I must say I don't regret purchasing it. First of all, its so light on the skin as compared to Studio Fix. And I can easily build up coverage according to how packed I want it on my face. Its absolutely soft on the skin too especially when used with the dreamtone pigmentation correcter underneath .

What Lancome says about DreamTone

This  advanced corrector is designed to correct the appearance of dark spots, uneven skin tone and visibly corrects colour irregularities such as dullness, sallowness and blemish marks.

What I think About DreamTone

Well I really wish I could have purchased the original bottle but my account couldnt allow me. I managed to get a small sample though that I have been using religiously and believe me you, I have noticed significant changes in the appearance of my blemishes on my Jaw area.

Flower Bomb

On the other hand I'm slowly building my fragrance collection slowly but sure. My old time fav being Roberto Cavalli Eau De parfume, I instantly fell in love with Flower Bomb (Victor&Rolf) a sensual scent with subtle flowery notes. It smells heavenly and simply irresistable.

Have a lovely day.

And I painted my nails red of course but don't make the mistake of wearing a red outfit and red shoes because then you will just ruin the look. For those interested there are more tutorials and look books for valentines day. Be inspired.

Any body feeling the love already seeing as we are finally in the month of love, not too far away from Valentines day. Have you planned anything interesting for your loved one, partner, hubby, wifey, bestfriend, whoever...I wish I could say I am excited about it this year though I don't mind surprises "   hint hint  ". Anyway, so seeing as red will be prominent this month I purchased a red nail polish by Barry M in shade Red wine.

I normally put a base coat before applying the actual nail varnish and I tend to put two coats of the nail varnish just to enable the colour pop more. However Its so hard for me to wait for the nail polish to dry especially when I have put two coats on. I literally smudge it every time and then I have to reapply the nail polish. Other than that I think Barry M nail polish is quite good and doesn't chip easily.

Its not the most neat piece of work but hey I am satisfied with the outcome. So for those love birds thinking of painting the town red maybe this could be a good idea to add that extra sexy touch to your Valentines outfit. Have a lovely weekend.
