Hiya guys, hope u all well. So, the other day I decided to pack away most of my summer clothes to make room for the bulky knitwear that seems to be piling up in readiness for winter. Am yet to find the perfect boots though...too many options out there. Anyway, so I stumbled across my pair of floral pants that I rocked during spring time. Immediately, I thought of an outfit (which I wore yesterday). Usually floral prints is associated with spring, without a doubt as it is in nature, so it is in style. But that's also what makes flowers in winter so spectacular. coming to think of it, blossoming against all odds is a great reminder of what was and a promise of whats to come. Positive thinking right there. Oh by the way, I finally managed to get Sleek -Exaggerate lippy. I have been looking for this lippy for ages and it always used to be out of stock in superdrug but finally I have it. Great dupe to MAC heroine in my opinion. I love purple so to me thats one of my Best buys so far. Have a blessed week.

Leeds Fashion Show 2013

So I finally got a chance to attend the Leeds Fashion show last Friday and I must say it was a great experience. Now when you think about fashion shows the likes of London Fashion week or Vogue Fashion nights out , and cities like Paris, Milan , New York come to mind ...its all glitz and catwalk couture. But the true heart and soul of fashion is from within init.

From the start i knew we were in for a fantastic night. Hosted by the very charismatic Kem Anyanwu who gracefully and enthusiastically got the show underway and paved the way for the designers and retailers to show off their upcoming collections. There was The models were excellent from start to finish as they graced the catwalk in their various pieces. I must say, Leeds does have some phenomenal designers as seen on the catwalk that night. From the likes of Masato, Savanah Morrish, F2D, hyper couture, Blak Label, just to mention a few. All designs had a unique touch and definitely eye catching.

In a nutshell, it was a great and successful night full of life, energy, vibrant colours and kicked off by a great performance by the SCALA Kids.

Booties/ZARA, Jeggings/NEWLOOK, Bag/ZARA, Coat/Ebay, Shirt/NEWLOOK

As opposed to the glamarously dressed attendees, I decided to dress comfortably and hoped the tartan shirt would add a trendly look to the outfit. Anyway happy hump day.

"Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder"

The other day I was on twitter and came across an interesting argument concerning makeup. Well basically, some one posted a pic a before and after pic of a lady who had undergone a good makeup fix in my opinion even though she look totally different. Apparently , some guys think wearing makeup disguises the true beauty or natural state of a woman. Someone else put a point across saying "some girls without makeup look hideous." You see with some nasty words would you blame females for wearing makeup? Anyway so the argument went on and on. In my opinion, I see nothing wrong with wearing makeup to enhance natural beauty. Yes, others overdo it but to be honest "Wetin concern You as my Nigerian friends would say -(how does it affect you)? Whats your view on this?

I proudly wear makeup because I love to. The main products I use on my face are MAC match master foundation, L'Oreal studio primer, MAC studio care-blend and lipsticks from my local drug store. Thank God for YouTube my makeup skills have improved tremendously.

Anyway hope you all had a lovely weekend and blessed Sunday. My weekend has been gloomy and wet because its been raining all weekend but i still managed to go to church today. This was my Face Of the Day (FOTD).

Have a lovely week

Blurred Lines

Hello my lovies, hope you are well. So its been a while since my last post and I do apologise for the silence. Autumn is finally here and am loving the trends so far even though I don't necessarily stick to trends. First of all I decided to get some box braids for now and am loving them clearly because they are not high maintenance. Really am loving them...

The thing about autumn is that on some chilly days I can layer up and knowing me, I tend to get cold pretty easily for some reason. Sweaters are staple pieces for layering up and they do come in handy through the winter

"Thinking about it just makes me feel nice and cosy,- chuckles away"

I managed to get this sweater after seeing the kenzo sweater/jumper on polyvore. My budget can't allow me to get the original Kenzo sweater so something close to it will definitely do for me.

Happy reading and enjoy the rest of your week ya'll.
